The principals at Ashbridge Partners have diverse and complimentary professional backgrounds including corporate finance, investment banking, private equity and entrepreneurship.

In addition, Ashbridge Partners is supported by a group of external investors and advisors made up of some of Canada’s top investors, business leaders and entrepreneurs.

Nathan Tam


Nathan was educated at the University of Western Ontario’s Richard Ivey School of Business (Honours Business Administration, Ivey Scholar). Prior to founding Ashbridge Partners, he co-founded Offleash Media, a company which owns and operates pet-focused websites. Over the span of two years, Offleash Media acquired 15 leading websites and became a leading global player in the online pet industry. Nathan led the sale of Offleash to a strategic acquirer in early 2012. Prior to founding Offleash, Nathan worked at Onex Corporation, Canada’s largest private equity firm. At Onex, Nathan evaluated and conducted due diligence on a number of investment opportunities and was part of the team that oversaw Husky Injection Molding Systems, an Onex operating company. Nathan began his career in the Investment Banking Division of Morgan Stanley in Toronto, where he advised clients in the Mining and Financial sectors on financings and M&A transactions.

Jordan Goodman


Jordan graduated with Honours from the University of Western Ontario. Prior to founding Ashbridge Partners, Mr. Goodman ran his own management consulting firm specializing in the acquisition, management and growth of consumer brands for some of the world’s top private equity firms and consumer focused businesses. Prior to this, Mr. Goodman served as Vice President at Authentic Brands Group, a Leonard Green & Partners portfolio company focused in consumer brand acquisition, where he focused primarily on M&A and business development. Mr. Goodman began his career spending four years at Hilco Consumer Capital, a private equity firm focused on consumer brand acquisition and licensing.  He held dual roles as Vice President of Hilco Consumer Capital and Vice President, Business Development for portfolio company Polaroid. Jordan’s acquisition and license experience range from, but are not limited to, Sharper Image, Halston, Linens-N-Things, Bombay Furniture, Tommy Armour Golf, Ellen Tracy, Missoni, Bob Marley, Marilyn Monroe, TapouT and more.

Ryan DeCaire


Ryan is currently President of Geroline Inc., an Ashbridge Partners portfolio company. Prior to joining Ashbridge Partners, Ryan worked at Onex Corporation, Canada’s largest private equity firm. At Onex, he was responsible for evaluating and conducting due diligence on new investment opportunities. Ryan evaluated successful businesses and worked with accomplished operators in a variety of industries including technology, business services, industrials, healthcare, and retail. He was also a member of the team that oversaw Save-A-Lot Food Stores, an Onex operating company. Ryan began his career in investment banking at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in Toronto where he focused primarily on retail M&A transactions. Ryan was educated at the University of Western Ontario’s Richard Ivey School of Business (Honours Business Administration, Honours).
